Features and Hardware for the iPhone SE 3
The design of the iPhone SE is derived from an earlier model of the iPhone. iPhone 5S and 5S Plus were both released in 2016, and the 2020 iPhone SE will be identical to the iPhone 8 Plus.
The third iteration has a similar design to the iPhone 8, which it replaces. So the iPhone SE 2022 has a screen that’s about the same size as the iPhone 5S. Because of the widescreen LCD Multitouch display and the 1400:1 contrast ratio, the screen’s resolution is 1334×750 pixels at a pixel density of 326 pixels per inch (PPI).
Ming-Chi Kuo’s predictions about 5G and Apple’s A15 processor for this phone are correct (second-generation iPhone SE uses the A13 processor). This is the first SE to feature 5G, which was first introduced in the iPhone 12 in late 2020.

Some early rumors suggested that the iPhone SE would be based on the 2018 iPhone XR, with a 6.1-inch screen and a fingerprint scanner on the side. This means that if a larger-screen version is released in the future, we can expect it to be known as the iPhone SE Plus.
Right now, there isn’t a definite agreement. It’s not clear what the Plus moniker stands for either. In some ways, this is logical. The third iPhone SE will arrive in 2024, four years after the first two. However, as we already have a 2022 model, we can expect a Plus model in 2024, at the end of the current release cycle. That, or they’ve decided to speed up the SE and now we’ll see a two to the three-year rollout of the new features. There is no way of knowing what lies ahead.
